Powder nutes for hydroponics

I grow in coco.

All cannabis stems are hollow from what I've seen.

Not sure if it's worth using...so I'll do an experiment and see what differences I can see.
 
My stems are always hollow-ish. I looked it up online, and it looks like there's a lot of controversy about it: some say it's genetic, others say it's nute deficiency, others say it's more conducive to nute uptake. So it's worth more investigation.

Here's what Floraflex says: Pith: At the stem's core lies the pith, which, as the plant matures, often becomes hollow, reducing the overall weight while maintaining structural integrity

From ILGM forum: According to DJ Short and one other breeder I cant remember, hollow stem phenos are higher in THC than their non hollow counterparts.

Now you going to make me go back and find my notes. Si Armor helped make them stronger but it doesnt fill the void, keeping a fan on them from the start helps but there was some thing that filled the pith. I brought it in another forum and one purest asshole said "My stems are never hollow, if they were I would toss the plant". My Buddy Karma set him straight in about 2 weeks when he posted a picture of a freash cut bud with a hollow stem yo ucould put your finger in. Now did I point that out, hell yes I did and he cme back with "well thats becasue I just cut that one" Right. Asshole was probably a politician
 
Yes I wouldnt use them in DWC unless you have a good mixer, I bought a portable mixer for keif extraction, too much work and not a quality product so now I use it for the ebb & flow res. Bottom feed RDWC its not a big problem but you do have sediment
 
That is a pretty basic explanation but I didn't see anything about what percentages ratio of the Epidermis, cortex, Vascular Bundles, and pith or how do you increase/decrease them. When I first started using the RDWC the stems were like paper straws
 
I've never had a problem with the strength of the stems, which is why I've been able to have lots of "horizontal grows" with supercropping. I haven't broken a stem yet because it was too flimsy. I'm posting pics below. Stems are plenty strong.

Yes I supercrop every grow, I think the stress gives teh buds a little boost. My first RDWC grow was autoflowers, that was the first mistake. They wereso thin though they would crush like a straw and then break. What media are you growing in and what nutrients are you using
 
Allenpro I use leca clay balls and Future Harvest nutes (a Canadian brand). It's awesome, and I love the leca because I sterilize it in H2O2 and it's good to go over and over and over. I've never grown autos but I understand that LST isn't good for them--at least that's what they say on GWE...
 
There are a lot of myths about autos that just are not true anymore. We had a Auto Grow competition on another site and dispelled a lot of the bro sicense . I topped mine twice lots of LST, defoliation and a few broken branches and out of 6 under current sites and 6 plants I got almost 6 lbs of decent bud. Will I grow them again? Only outside and not often, too many leaves. But I didnt notice them being at all fickle compared to what you can do with photoperiod .You can reroot them too, but the clones will be done about the same time as the mother so its kind a pointless
