Potency

I would like to hear from someone who has the ability to tell me---- my grow finished after multiple challenges though I suffered a potency issue. The buds were decent, very sticky , with lots of chrystal. Smoke very smooth n a little tasty but the potency suffered. I use led w coco in smart pots. I'm looking for potency feedback!!

Genetics, genetics, genetics. It's all about starting with a good strain. Then it goes nutrients and Light.

what kind of nutes were you using and what type of led?

Also you said that you had some problems at the beginning of the grow. Stress throughout the life of the plant will greatly reduce potency.

Why nutes?

There are a million factors..

Any nutes compared to no nutes. What brand of nutes (some are better than others). What type of
nutes, Just using a 2 or 3 part compared to a full line of nutes with additives will greatly factor potency.

Not all nutes are created equally. Some contain things that will make your plants thrive while other cheaper versions may not. The easier it is for your plant to grow the better your final product will be.

Harvesting to early and mostly too late will effect potency as well.

As others have said, there are a ton of things that can affect the plant's growth. You mention you had multiple challenges -- can you describe some of them. What your feeding the plant can make a difference but I second GroJimmy in asking if you harvested too early/late. Are you scoping (using a handlens) to check your trichomes?
I've had some pH issues and those can seriously affect the plant. Are you testing the runoff pH when you water?
