I use the spring water from Walmart. It will pH at 6.0 consistently and will help with cal-mag.
I still pH every gallon when I open it and after mixing nutes but it had worked well for me so far with autos in coco.
Not sure how much you will have to adjust for your soil grow.

When i water or feed nutes. I will look at HOW the pot is draining. Is it running out the sides before it gets to the roots? I lift the pot to decide when it needs watering Know that weight it's key. Of course i allow maybe a cup of nutes runoff, why waste grow or bloom food no need. Water till runoff the bottom, water very slowly at first helps to absorb in soils.
