this is a freebie Big Bang I got with my first seedsman order...plant was looking really good...then I noticed something...please tell me everything will be OK...

yeah...major bummer...i might dig a hole outside and see what happens...how long until it must go? i'm sure the sooner the better. i didn't notice yesterday when I watered/trimmed, so this is a new development. i've got three more plants going (blueberry, cookies kush, and bubba kush) so this grow won't be a total loss...and it will give the remaining 3 a bit more room.
Is this genetic or stress induced? this is only my 2nd grow, but has been pretty stress free.

It needs to get gone if you don't want seeds! most sack start opening in the third to fourth week of flower, he looks ready.
 
Hey might be a really dumbass question..and im a guy so it doesnt feel right even typing this...what would happen if someone were to rip all of its balls off(yikes) like right now??
 
You can remove pollen sacks, it is a long process and one can successfully be seed free if you have the time and patience to repeatedly find and remove them day in and day out. Water in a spray bottle is your best friend.
 
if you have time and want to play with it,,, strip it, take all growth, it may die (50/50), it may come back, if it lives it may come back female, or male about 50/50 chance. I pull them as its to much work for little gain,,,
 
Wow, that's a pretty spectacular example of a hermie right there.. sorry tho.

Maybe let it seed and try your luck again in the future, lol
 
thats the right thing to do, in the future when a plant throws just a few bananas is manageable but thats a full on "nothing but seeds" hermie so has to go
 
had bananas on both plants in my 1st grow. both were mystery 10+ year old bag seed. this one was a freebie...so I guess you get what you pay for haha. I did notice this plant had asymmetrical nodes relatively early (3 or 4 weeks from seed) so i'm wondering if that was an early warning sign?
 
Curious for any experienced growers.. is it possible to 'manage' pull off all the flowers before they open and keep the plant from pollinating?
 
usually if you see nanners its too late
sorry bud, saying that IF that is the only plant your growing then seedy buds are better than no buds!
