I have been having problems with one of my seedlings. 12 days old and is not growing and changing to a light color with some discoloration on one of the leaves. I though it was overwatered but let the mix dry for a couple days with no luck, I thought too much light so I moved further away from the 450W LED and currently getting around 700 LUX from original 900 LUX with 18H on 6H dark. Temp between 74-79 with 50%-60% RH. Watering with cal/mag mixture and distilled water. Any suggestions? Also, do I need to monitor the PH levels with distilled watering? Thanks all.

Is that coco? Did you mix any perlite in cause it doent look like it has any. Did you wash and buffer if coco coir or did you by pre washed and pre buffered coco? Are you feeding it anything other than cal mag? I believe that is coco coir which has no nutritional value. I start feeding when the first set of true leaves comes up. I would repot in a washed and buffered coco perlite mix (at least 30%-40%perlite) and feed them. Always check ph unless you are using living soil. Also you cant use a lux meter to measure LED as it will not show you an accurate reading. PAR is what you need to measure LED strength.

I'm thinking they could have been getting to much water only because you said you let em dry out but they don't look to wet now which is good they just need to be moist. Feeding this early shouldn't be necessary unless that's coco I never fed in soil for the first 3-4 weeks. Yes you need to ph distilled water if you add anything to it, nutes change the ph. How far are your lights? What does the manufacturer recommend? 450w actual or made up by manufacturer? Not all lights are created equal lol

It’s looking beat up. 450w of anything is too much for a sprout. No matter what they’ll be grown under I start all my sprouts in 6oz styrofoam cups underneath 2 T5’s while sitting on a heat mat. In 10-14days they’ll be healthy and ready to be transplanted then placed under something more powerful. This is in addition to what’s previously been mentioned regarding the medium and watering/feeding
LED is about 36" away. Specs as follows: LED offers 2.5'x3' core coverage, depends on your setup orientation it could reach to the edge up to 3'x3.5'. Power consumption is about 220W, 55,000 Lux if the distance from top of plant to base of light is 24". Full Spectrum: 1st peak is @ 450-470nm (Blue for Veg state), 2nd peak is @ 640-710nm (Red for bloom state), also offers wavelength in green, yellow, orange region (less intense than 2 peaks, does help grow stronger stem).

You could have a ph issue if you are not testing. Ph range of coco is 5.5-6.5 but i water with 6.0 every feed. Adding nutrients will change ph of water so if you are not testing you are going to have issues as plants absorb nutes in specific ph ranges. Especially in coco. Also if you didnt buffer your coco or it was not buffered then you may run into some deficiencies. Buffering coco means pre watering with ph'ed cal mag solution to charge the coco with cal mag since coco is inert and the coco will bond with the cal mag when added essentially starving the plant from calcium and magnesium. By adding the cal mag before you plant, the cal mag bonds with it so when you water again with cal mag and nutes it doesnt steal the cal mag from the feed, thus allowing the plant access to calcium and magnesium. Thats a very generalized explanation but its basically the reason buffering is important. Also make sure your pot and medium has very good drainage as cannabis does better with airy well draining mediums. Cant see the hydroclay pellets so thats why i mentioned it.
