HELP! Plants dying

I had 3 plants die suddenly. One day they were absolutely fine. Next day wilted as if they needed water but they didn't. Next day they were gone completely. I just can't figure it out. Help please!! These were outdoor plants.

To go from fine to dead in three days, and no visible damage..i would think some kind of over spray from weed killer or such. Thats pretty fast die off. How big were the plants? You said they didnt need water(maybe too wet) but i dont think you could drown them to completely dead in two days.(unless their seedlings) homegrown

My guess would be they were set in the sun to fast, or the soil was to wet and the roots rotted. I just lost 1 to the soil being to hot,,,,
