Planting two seeds on top of each other?

Thought about this because my roommate wants to grow I gave her a seed and a pot/rapidrooter in soil. It still hasn't germinated if she plops another (hopefully more viable) will it just drill through the other and find more young if not identical nutes or will it just wrap around it and not care?

I'd pull it out. I seem to have better results germinating(at least getting the shell to pop) in a paper towel and then into a rooter. Removing the seed also gives me the chance to germinate externally-if it will.

To answer your question yes, if the seed pops and makes it to the top, your dead seed below will be smothered by roots on their ride down to the bottom.
