I use Fox Farm Ocean Forest Planting Soil PH balanced in 5gal buckets, can soil be re- used?

Are you adding nutrients also? I'm using Ocean Forest now, but with the "hot" Kind soil underneath it to supply all nutrients needed for my auto.

I wouldn't re use soil. If you are really in a pinch and cannot afford new soil, I guess it could be done, You will have already used all the original nutrients and so would have to adjust your supplements accordingly. You could run into other problems like pests. I'd avoid doing so.

I wonder about re using pro mix or some other soil-less grow medium?

I don't see why you couldn't reuse soil. Perhaps ph issues as the soil breaks down further. I just rinse the perlite out and throw my used soil in my garden outside...
