Plant Training

Sorry if this is a silly question or the wrong place to ask, but I was just looking over some of the things I can do for plant training and I'm really liking main-lining and the way it manipulates the plant, especially for my grow area. My question is, is this typically the only plant training done, if one decides to use this? Or is it generally/can it be stacked on top of LST for bigger yields, or do they not really work together? Also if it is possible and any of you have done it or know how to, a few tips of using them both together would be greatly appreciated.

Main-lining then lst If you want ....I've seen that on here somewhere

Nebula has a great tutorial on it in GWE. LST is almost necessary when mainlining to prevent branches from getting out of control or crowding each other

I grow all my plants LST only. Manly because like I mentioned before I'm chicken to mainline. That being said. I only grow for my own personal use. Two grows of 4 plants each gives me enough smoke to last me an entire year plus. I would be considered a chronic user.

First we are talking about a photoperiod plant. Start with manifold training combined with LST to form as wide a plant as you can get. Then most of the other methods can be utilized from there SOG, SCROG and SUPERCROPPING. In my current grow manifolding filled the tent as if it was a SOG from just one plant!
