Can someone tell me what's going on with my plant and why it only has 3 leaves?! Please and thank you

That's just the way it develops, nothing wrong right now. Starts out single, triple then 5 to 7 finger leaf. That a clone?

I'm not sure if it's a clone. It is from a stash from 2 different bags I bought or from the seeds I bought from ILGM. I just got the grow tent and this is the 1st real plant I've been able to grow this far along. I know I need to change my soil to the specific kind, but im on a budget so i use my own compost soil from 4 yrs of growing in my yard. I do 18/6 light and just now started 2 more seedlings, so I'm going to try and use the right ratio soil/nutrients/Fertilizer for these 2. The other I was just willy nilly with its growing process, but the leaf amount concerned me because I couldn't find any answers on why there is only 3. Thanks for info!

What he said, reveg. How do you not know if it a clone or not? I see trichs on the rounded leaves. That would not happen on a seedling.

I'll have to say this is a clone and not from a seed directly. Or maybe it was started with 12+ hours of dark and then bumped to 14+ hours of light, maybe.

Yeah, that plant did not come from a seed. The structure is all wrong for seedling, and correct for a clone.

Ya the single node structure and preflowers (and the reveg) gives it away, just cant fool us old hippies!

It could be a nutrition, soil pH issue or some other kind of stress(clone, reveg, transplant, light stress, environmental stress) I had something similar happen to me 2 grows back. I had a Tangie that was in very hot soil. She was getting nitrogen toxicity and a calcium deficiency at the same time. Throughout the whole grow I noticed that each and every leaf only had 3 fingers on it. I also noticed plants that are really healthy can have up to 9 points!
My current grow experienced some transplant shock and you can see on the MAC where the experienced the shock because she's got 2 sets of 3 pointed leaves with purple stems while the leaves above look healthier and have 5 points.

If it doesn't improve and new leaves keep growing only 3 points, you have to see about other possible stressors. If new leaves grow up healthy then you have nothing to worry about.
