plant height

say a plant is reviewed at a height of 24".
1... is that without any training?
2... is that before or after flowering stretch?

keeping my plants pretty low til I get all the tops I want. less than 6" at foliage top. originally intended 16 tops per plant, but new guy fumblings have really slowed me down. probably settle for 8 on the ones I CAN manifold, lol.

I'm not 100% but I'd say no training 24 in. sounds like an auto variety? are you manifolding the auto?
If so you have to be quick, this plant won't wait for you to learn. Go by size of grow space, Example I have a dwc set up so about 15 inches I have to minus that size and the plant at top flower is 30 some inches total so in veg I let it get about 15 in.

But I've learned how to keep any size I want now, I can't count how many buds this little plant has (2 of them) but I could have had 10 of this size plant LOL in my 4x4 tent

You'll learn each grow and they get better. This is a photo plant thats suppose to be very tall it's 16 inches.

hI karlee! thanks for responding! my journal is 5 little beans. I'm headfirst DWC in a 5×5×7 peppermint kush photo under 1000w hid. manifolding in progress on 3, and freestyling 2 due to damage. arms are bound 2 inches from the deck. foliage grows to about 6 from the deck before I LST back to 3 or 4 inches. manifolds almost ready for final cut.
sounds to me like the height of plants stated in grow reports are actual finished height. that s a relief! this pk is stated at about 24 inches. I knew I wouldn't have any real issue with this little one, but I'm training myself hard so I can tackle sativa also.
I'm putting together a veg station now, and planning to start a 2nd DWC grow after I flip these babies.
posting pics in a minute
