Planning 4th grow, anyone grown Green Crack?

Hi Everyone,

Planning my fourth grow and looking for input on how much time will be required.

I will be growing indoors in soil (Stonington Blend with FF nutes) in a 2x4 cabinet under a Mars Hydro SP3000. I need to harvest the end of the first week in December in order to have everything jarred up before a planned vacation the first of Jan.

I live in a humid part of the world from June thru Early Oct. so want to wait as long as possible to start. I plan on manifolding 2 plants (per Nebula tutorial). I am thinking a 8 week veg should be about right. If I allow 2 for germination/seedling and 10 for flower ( I have read Green Crack is quick flowering so could only take 8) this gives a 4 month period from seed germination started to chop date.

This means an August 1 start and flip to 12 hr around the first week in Oct. which will help minimize humidity issues.

Does anyone think I should start earlier in order to be done in time? It will mean more risk of the dreaded bud rot even though I run two dehumidifiers.7

I appreciate anyone taking time for input.

Thanks and Happy Growing!

Hi RetiredGuy I'm a retired gal :o i remeber you from awhile back. Nope never grew it but was gifted some green crack mello smoke, they were grown outdoors so all i know is they got huge LOL. Good planning on the grow. Yes i think you could make it work. That's part of the reason i don't do much indoor during summer hot an dry though. Got enough work outdoors during summer. So depending on how big they really get would for me determine when to flip. You want them dry and pretty cured prior to leaving them un burped for when your gone. Just aim the fan towards the lower parts really get good air circulation, humidity is a toughie.

I grew Green Crack in my last grow, harvested end of 2022. Plant grew very fast, had no issues and was second most productive of 15 strains . in a sea of green it was amongst the first to harvest, 9 weeks from 12 12 . A nice product that I would call mid-quality compared to the rest of the grow. still outstanding weed that I would do again.
