My timing seems to be off a little so I have 10 photos ready to transplant for the first time and the only space I have available is in the auto room but I dont know if the photos can handle the 24/7 lights, then go back to 18/6 when their is room in the veg room . Its either the auto room or I pull 2 plants from the veg room and stick in bloom early, Any thoughts

I veg my photos at 24/7. This photo pineapple chunk veg 21 days at 24/7 then into 12/12.

but I don't think I would go back to an 18/6 if you change to 24/7.

ATU yes I made a tinture ran 2 tubs of roach dope in the decarber then put in a quart jar covered with everclear shook and put in freezer shake daily

IMHO
You are probably going to be forced into doing what I think is probably the best.
24 hour light is not a problem at all during Veg. It is almost certainly best for vegetative growth, especially early. The biggest problem 24/0 can lead to is shock at the flip to 12/12. So, it is good practice to move from 24/0 to 18/6 a few weeks before the flip, which sounds like what you will probably do.

Just a thought: Since autos aren't sensitive to day length and photos are, maybe change the auto room to 18/6 while the photos are in there? (Assuming I'm understanding what you're asking; I may not be.)

My guess is that photos would do OK going from 24/0 to 18/6, but I guess the question is is flowering triggered by absolute day length or by change in day length?

I’m trying 24/0 for veg right now seems to be going good only concern I’ve had so far is spraying, I wasn’t sure if hitting them with neem oil with the lights on was going to be an issue.

hey Doc I have a veg room but it is full of plants ready to go into bloom when the bloom room is done, The ones in bloom now are at 7 weeks so it should only be a few more weeks had to flush them all yesterday due to low PH so with the set back a few more weeks and the 10 photos are ready to be transplanted today and I am more concerned about slowing down the Autos more than the photos

Morning JibblerJoe, with them good photo seeds, that grow big plants outdoors, that's what you damn near got to do in tents, short veg, or they'd be all over the place unless you had tied down tight.
JibblerJoe, you ever grow much outdoors? In holes or either buckets? It is unreal how huge an tall they get sometimes with no training just some leaf pulling.
That's gonna be a nice one you got there.

Is that true. I notice I get flowers alot faster going from 24 to 12 than 18 to 12 it takes about a week longer in flower going from 18 to 12.
I just had a theory that the shock switches her faster. But that could of been just improvements in my growing skill I don't know it's all so up in the air I wonder how much of life is just the placebo effect.

Yes. It makes sense that you get flowers earlier too.
In my understanding, 24/0 to 12/12 shocks the plants. In some strains it could be a factor that contributes to hermaphrodism. However, if other factors are not stressing the plants it should just cause them to flip quicker.
Still working on my reply to your other Q about light. Haven't been able to focus on that much because work is nuts for me right now. But it was in reading for that, that I learned this. I have not veg'd plants 24/0 - just sharing theory.
