This is an experiment for me, trying to do my first Sea of Green...Started some clones on July 1st. They are now 12 to 14 inches tall and have been topped 3 times and the new branches are taking off quite nicely... Is there such a thing as switching to bloom too soon? I waited too long to switch to bloom on my first grow and the plants took over the tents... Thanks Muskie Man...

I've read where people have flipped clones or seed plants at 4wks. Now i've flipped before at 6wks and they did not show pre flower for over 2wks, i think they decide to when they feel they can be mature enough to produce " seed or flower " i don't think there is a firm time frame when to flip 12/12. They still grow upward and outward before preflower. My answer if they were mine is to do it if you want to now. As long as they are healthy go ahead and do it. It's a learning experiment i get from you and your not to much needing the weed? So sure go ahead flip them.

Thanks SoOrbudgal, that is basically my thinking as well. I just topped the plants for the third time earlier this week so I will give them another week before switching to bloom... I have 12 to 15 branches per plant that are growing strongly... Hopefully they all produce for me... Will send you a pic when they start to bloom...Muskie Man

It depends on the plant. Clones are naturally an older plant so they’ll likely flower pretty quick but if you try this from seed you never know. I’ve had plants under 12/12 2-3wks before they started to preflower and I’ve had them flower in a few days. I have a couple Blue Dream from seed going now that I only vegged 2wks before 12/12 and they started to flower in 4 days
