HELP! Phantom power in LED grow lights

Apparently one of my LED lights stay on very slightly during the dark hours. I just switched to flower schedule and noticed a slight glow long after the timer shut off the lights. My theory is that the LED's take so little power that they may glow with what the electric co. calls "phantom power". Power being used by appliances, etc, while they are turned off. There are companies that specialize in tracking down phantom power in large commercial buildings, saving a lot of money. And we all know the importance of true darkness during flowering. Now what? Any ideas on this or the outcome? I spotted the glow during my first 12 hour darkness shift.
 
Take a timer and see how long it takes for the glow to completly turn off then adjust ur on off to work with that. So if it means 15 or 20mins extra of darkness then thats what ya gotta do. I know someone who grows 10/14 for flower and his stuff turns out really nice.
 
Its actualy gd for the plants to have lower light levels as the plant gos to sleep thats how it works in nature. As long as the light does turn completly off ull be fine :)
 
Ive heard of this happening with cheap timers. There is supposedly some electrical bleed from the timer. On the other hand if its only one light doing it and you have more than one light on the same timer than its most likely the light. If its staying on all thru the dark cycle you need to ditch the light in my opinion .As others mentioned, if its a short time and then it goes off I wouldnt worry about it..Trying a different timer would be a cheap method to try.
 
This LED never goes off completely. It's not the little glow that happens when you turn one off . I read about a guy putting one incandescent bulb on the same line to use the energy before the LED's have the chance to light with their efficiency. Thanks for the replies. I never saw this happen before. Always something happening during a grow. Gonna talk to the manufacturer to see what they say. If it screws up the flowering process that is quite completely shite.
 
If the lights stay dim all the time do not use this light for photos!!!!!!! U will get hermies. But this light will be fine for autoflowers as autos dont care about lights being on or off
 
Tranesong I have both hps and leds in my bloom room ,I put some plants from my patio that had gone into bloom in the room they were doing great but I had two kind micro light for bloom on a timer that went haywire it ran slow so it was on during dark hours it caused the plants to foxtail or go back into veg.are the leds on a separate timer ? If they are on a timer then it should turn them off off ,everything others have said should help as well
