been having problems with a few plants, each shows different signs of different nute deficiencies but the problems start from seedlings so with the help of some of you i have determined i most likely have a ph problem causing nute lockout. So i got a ph meter, the spring water i use to water tested at around 6.4 ph along with runoff, BUT when i add the very slight amount of nutes the ph of the water goes to about 4.3, is that a problem? It should be noted that when collecting the run off today that tested 6.4 the plant has regained it's nice green color and appears healthy, every time I water (I wait until soil is practically completely dry) is when they go to shit, within a couple hours they're wilting, was using tap water that tested at around 7.6 and the problems got a little better when I switched to spring water but I quickly started adding very little notes to spring water, I'm concerned that when I water with the nutes solution that tested around 4.3 that its screwing up the plants, any help is much appreciated

Water at 4,3 in PH will not help your roots at all in my opinion. It just too low. You need to get it in range
and a picture of the plant and a little more about your setup and medium could help a lot also

It sounds like that spring water is very soft. Soft water doesn't have enough dissolved solids to buffer its pH very well.

Get a sample of the water first and check pH and TDS. If TDS is about normal for drinking water, it will be between 150-200. If it is lower than that you might need to treat with CalMag before you add nutes unless the program you're using already adds minerals like mine does.
Once you're satisfied with that, add nutes but start with a quarter of what the manufacturer recommends. Take a pH and TDS reading after they've been mixed. It should stay somewhere between 400 (seedlings) and 1000 (intense bud growth) and the pH should be as close to 6.0 as you can get. Add more nutes if needed. Always test and adjust pH last before you feed. It's best to get a quart of both pH Up & pH down and don't run out.

Ph of runoff is around 7.4, water used to create run off was 7.7 ph. Tds of run off was 140. Wated a minute and got more run off and ph was 7.1 an tds was 600. I cannot figure out why I'm having these problems, plants are small fo age, when the grow they grow, but then they dont grow when they start showing problems. I've grown before and never paid attention to ph or anything, just fed notes when I felt like they were needed and I never had a single problem related to plant growth or health until now
