I have been testing my EC meter and Ph meter based on bottled water (has both EC and Ph on the tab) and a month after getting them they were both still correct besides the Ph for my tap water was 0.1 lower!
Haven't used the buffers yet (they all come with pretty much the same green and red packs) and don't think i will,just get two or three different bottled water companies and keep the temp @ 25c,you can check and recalibrate as needed without worrying about loosing grip,even if it's not important to have a +- 0.2...
