HELP! Ph level

Hello Growers

Should I have adjuste water ph level before adding nutrients or after that because when I adjust ph level at 6.0 for example before adding nutrients the ph level drop down to 4.5 after adding nutrients

Howdy alhmna1980, I pH the water before I add the nutrients and then adjust the pH again. Someone asked why I did it this way and it was because the first set up I started with (a Bubbleponics) said to do it that way. I tried to put in the nutrients without pH'ing the water first, but the nutrients (dry GH MaxiGrow and MaxiBloom) did not dissolve as well. The amount of the pH down (or up) did not change, the nutrients dissolved better when the water (tap water) was pH'ed first.
