PH change

Alright newbie here, having a magnesium issue. Just got my pen and my tap water in is 8.0 and my water out of the pot is 5.3. How do I adjust to make the difference. It's obviously low and needs raised but that would raise my water higher which would make sense if it drops in the pot. She is doing good and I'd hate to ruin the yield.

Your plants are looking just fine so why monkey with things? You've got a little yellowing of sun leaves but that's to expected during flower. Nice grow.

My tap pH is 7.7 or so and I use 4 drops of foxfarm pH down per gallon to get to 6.8. My pH levels have been fluctuating and I've not done well managing it but got a good pen and things are looking better. I used a cheap pen at first and went back to test paper since the pen was way off. Then I think my paper turned from humidity. Get a good tester.

I'm guessing it's a soil grow.

Forget about measuring the pH coming out of the pot, its not a good indicator of pH at the roots.

Lower your pH if you must. If tap water is at 8.0 two or three drops of lemon juice will have 2.5gal of water down to around 6.5 which is the lower side for flowering plants. 6.5 to 6.8 seems ideal in soil in flower for your inputs.
