Ozbud's neglected third grow. 3 auto strains, greenhouse.

Contacted Seedsman the other day as my order from two months ago hadn't arrived, no letter from customs or anything and my last order only took 12 days after posting, they say it could take 25 business days to reach here.

Got a response within 24 hours and after confirming my postal address they sent out a reship within 12 hours.
I've missed the window for a second outdoor auto grow this year but that's alright, I still have plenty of bud and I'll get another indoor underway in a couple of months. I was thinking Auto THC Bomb which I have stashed from last order or possibly something from the new one.

Coming in my order is
7 Afghan Kush Ryder Auto fem - World of Seeds. I did so well last indoor grow I had to get more.
5 Green Crack Auto fem - Fast Buds
5 Gorilla Glue #4 Auto fem - Expert Seeds
5 Kings Kush CBD Auto fem - Greenhouse Seed Co.

Freebies (may be substituted with the reship, i'll have to wait and see as there was no mention of substitutions by seedsman support)
2 Kush Auto - Seedsman
2 Diesel Auto fem - Royal Queen Seeds
2 Auto Lemon - Seedsman
2 Sour Hound Auto - Mephisto Genetics
Plus 8 other free seeds as part of the black Friday / cyber Monday bundle

Morning OzBud, that's a nice supply of seeds, I've got a Mephisto SourCrack an a FastBuds GorillaGlue auto in a cup of phed water right now. Can't wait until they are in coco. Have a great weekend, Oz, we grow a whole lot of cucumbers every year, we eat homemade pickles every day around my
house.
Are you using alum, when you do your pickles?

No alum in the pickles.
Sliced cucumber and onion get soaked in a salt water brine solution for 3 hours. Then in a big pot on the stove goes sugar, vinegar, yellow mustard seeds, dill, turmeric and cayenne pepper and bring to a simmer. Pour the excess salt water out of the soaking stuff then add it to the pot for 2-3 minutes on high heat then it gets turned off and set aside to cool slightly while the jars get sterilised in the oven. Jar up and wait for the lids to suck down and seal themselves as the pickles cool.
I think that's it, don't think I've missed anything.

I just gave the girls some nutes, was going to do it a couple of days ago so it was close to two weeks since they had a feed I think.

Can't remember how old they are so I just went with 80% strength week 7 early bloom mix using the full general hydroponics line.

Oz, your garden looks awesome man! All the way around.
Like the Cannabis mixed in with other things, having other plants in flower around will help to feed and attract beneficial insects during the part of there life cycle where most of them need pollen.

You'd love it oldjarhead, even if you only have space for a couple things, it's awesome. My G.H. is going right now in the rocky mtns in january. I lined the inside with bubble wrap for the winter, have water barrels for thermal mass. Built a grow tent inside my greenhouse till days get longer and it warms up more, just using a small electric heater for the tent mostly, propane heater for the rest if it drops to single digits. G.H. would get up to 90-100 on sunny days, if I didn't crack a vent.
Nice break from winter at the very least!

Hello all,
This grow wrapped up a couple of weeks ago. Nothing exciting. Grow was pretty neglected from the beginning since I was just getting rid of some free seeds and using up some space in the greenhouse. They went surprisingly well but lost a fair bit to bud rot. Lots off cool, wet weather towards the end and the humidity inside the greenhouse even with the door and window open climbed to 100% every night and I was too lazy/cheap to put any fans in there but I didn't even care about the bud rot, just got rid of anything nasty or close by the nasty stuff then gave the rest a bit of a wash with a hydrogen peroxide solution like I've seen Jorge Cervantes mention. It's dried and curing, haven't tried any yet. but... I've started up my 4th grow back indoors. THC Bomb Auto. Journal coming soon.

Sorry to hear about the bud rot, even if ya didn't care much about it. Got to be the toughest part of growing in a greenhouse, it got me kinda bad last summer, learned my lesson about flowering in august up hear (rainy season!) Looking forward to your next grow journal, I grew this THC Bomb cross one time, and they were really great plants, the seed grower had pollinated THC Bomb photo with a bunch of other strains, so got a couple phenos from those, grew EXPLOSIVELY!! Mine were a bit more susceptible to bud rot, but still did really good, and will plant more of those seeds again.

@oldjarhead100
process? They're soaked in a salt water/brine solution and then jarred up in a pickling solution. We've had some in the cupboard that were perfectly fine more than a year old. We make sure we thoroughly clean and sterilize the jars and get them sealed properly. Always followed the same technique so we've never done a quick version not intended for long term storage.

Yeah the bud rot was a bit of a bummer but I'm battling a major powdery mildew outbreak at work on about 1.1 million strawberry daughter plants that need to be harvested and propagated asap. I'll put a couple of fans in there if I do any outdoor stuff next summer. Was thinking of a DWC setup in the greenhouse.
