HELP! Over Watering

Once a plant has been over water how long should I wait to start back watering. what sign shold i look for

When the pot is light, and the soil is really dry 3 or 4 inches deep. You got any pictures nono?? How old is she? What kind of pots you using?? Over watering is about the worst thing you can do to a plant, maybe yours will recover ,good luck.
