I don't know what part of the country you live in desertdan . But isn't February a little early to start planting outside. I know where I live, we don't put anything in the ground 'till May. Just saying.
I've heard that would be false info. You will hear and read genetics have come a long way. Some great strains are auto- and while they are not as pliable as her photo sister, im eager to do the same outdoors under 90 days to harvest!
If the weather holds the same as last 2 years, I should be able to start ins inside and then transfer out end Feb. I can bring pots in if frost in Feb. or Mar. Transfer to large pots in mid March and maybe frost cloth once or twice. Should work. Last few years our coldest is in Dec.- Jan. period. I have lived same place 25 yrs and I think the weather should hold for a early spring auto. If this works I can get 2 crops a year outdoors.
