Outdoor swamp grow with swamp tubes

Anyone have any idea what's causing this on the leaves? Maybe just a little note burn or dead edges from bugs?? I'm not sure Tbh

Talk about blending in wow as far as damage to the plants not sure do you spray them with anything I use neem oil even if it doesn't kill the bugs they don't like the taste of it. do you give them nutrients ,are they in soil I cant remember if so why nutes, I give my outside girls water and I will spray them once a month with foilier essence or teas when I mix them

The only nutes I used was some dry nutes called mother Earth that I mixed in the dirt when I first put them out, used the dry nutes because it stays so wet i would never be able to water them an givem nutes.. an the only thing I've put on them so far is diamatacious earth an mixed up a concoction of water, baking soda, an dish soap that's supposed to help with the powdery mildee

Thanks bud, I don't know about a science lol kinda winging it, first time I've grown in this wet of an area so it's kinda new for me.., however I do like not having to water them all the time

Also used this stuff called earthshine or something like that, supposed to help add microbes an oxygen to the dirt or something like that, the guy at the grow shop talked me into it.. lol it's a dry powder also.. pretty much have to use dry stuff because like I said I don't have to water... Very very concerned about bud rot tho... Wish there was something I can spray to prevent it..

An had to mix in nutes cause I used pro mix mychorrizie an there's pretty much no nutes in it.. that an a crap load of perlite an vermiculite.. to help them drain better..beings there in a wet ass swamp lol

How freakin awesome is that!!! Definitely a good omen and protective force for real!!! I REEEEEEALLY love mantises!!!

I hope to see a mantis preying around my carniverous plants this summer.

I Kno right! I was gonna order a couple mantis eggs an some green lacewing larvae cause I don't like spraying stuff on the girls.. organic or not.. then I seen a bunch of lady bugs an a bunch of baby mantises on an around the girls so I said oh well guess I don't need to order none

Blazed, your good vibes are attracting the insect allies to you. I really believe that.

Don't forget to put the little cap of water down for the mantis like you did last year!! ;-}

Lol I Kno right, well beings there in a swamp it's pretty dayum wet all the time..kinda got me worried about bud rot,. I hope not tho,

being that they are in a wet ass swamp you could set it up to cover them at night in the fall its the dew from cool/cold nights and warm days that cause bud rot if you cover them they dont get so wet and are not a problem contractor bags work good and they are usually big enough . hell if you put 2 poles on either side and one over the plant you can put a roof over them .I dont know of anything other that that to help bud rot

I was just eavesdropping here, but it occurs to me that having mantises around carnivorous plants would be, to my mind, counterintuitive. I mean, wouldn't they be competing with each other for the same menu?

I would love to see a mantis around here .haven't seen one in years ,I throw lady bugs in the bloom room every 4 weeks so twice a grow That is really cool Blazed

Me either.. was outside painting dropped something an jus happens to look down. An seen it.. grabbed it for the little one

oldjarhead100 that's a pretty good idea.. but I don't know if that will work I don't think the contractor baggs will be big enough come flowering time.. last year I had to stand on top a 6ft ladder an still was a bit over my head..lol they were more tall then wide tho.. this year gonna try an keep them spread out a good bit.. so far there's been pretty good airflow thru there so hoping I'll be ok... Hoping..
