Outdoor plants almost ready already!?!??

My first time growing outdoors since Arizona just legalized. I popped seeds in March and had them growing under 18/6 in my indoor grow box until the start of May when I planted them outdoors. About july some of them began showing preflowers. Everything I've read and everyone I've talked to told me to expect a October harvest, yet here I am Sept 3rd with colas that have pistil hairs turning brown. upon inspection with a loupe I found to my absolute shock that 2 of my 6 girls have clear amber on the leaves and just starting on the buds. A third plant that isn't showing amber appeared to have almost entirely cloudy trichs covering it.

So im assuming I still harvest by the trichromes even though everything I read says they should be ready yet?

and what could have caused them to begin their flowering cycle so relatively early compared to what all the literature says?

I have been growing here in Arizona in the same place for 30 years. At first I was also surprised at early flower. This is only the case with Indica. i have had some as early as end Aug. Sativa will be normal some not ready till late Nov. Mostly indica early,Sativa late, Hybrid in between. I cut an afghan kush about 2 weeks ago. I have a gorilla glue ready in about 10 days. Some Deli friend in about 3 weeks and lots of Sativa not ready till late Oct. or Nov.

Lucky you for getting the timing correct on the outdoor without going into a reveg. That's what i aimed for but with your weather it will be a harvest before winter. Desertdan explained it well. This is why i also try to run mostly indica strains helps shorten the length of grow.........sometimes not. Like my pre 98 bubba kush she is looking more sativa by her leaf than indica she just took more of the sativa genetics seems like. She is now making real buds not just sitting in preflower for like a month. The rest are all in full bloom and stacking buds, she's gonna be late Oct. harvest and will need a month longer.

Just be very happy for no reveg. Remember the dates ;)

I have a snowcaine V2 doing the same thing. Full on flowering third week of July. Checked it the other day and mostly cloudy on the buds with 30 per cent amber. Still needs 3 weeks I think but test bud was fire.
