Outdoor Grow - Slow Growth with Crossed Fingers

Mephisto Ghost Toof (x2) and Forum Stomper
Outdoor Grow

Just a small update on what happened with the spider mites specifically. The youngest Ghost Toof was damaged by mites and spraying so I had to throw it out. The one Forum Stomper was severely stunted. I thought of throwing it out as well but I decided to let it flower and see how it turns out. The two eldest Ghost Toof plants look quite different, one with darker and bushier growth and the other light great and quite 'lean' with leaves. The two Ghost Toofs stretched quite a bit since I had the problem with the spider mites so I am looking forward to bud development.

The spider mites are still present but I am not as worried at this point. They favour dry and hot weather and the humidity has increased and temperature has cooled down a bit especially in the evenings so I am confident that the plants will make it through although you can see the damage to the foliage in the photos. I only used Bug B Gone once early in flowering when I could see the population escalating and have been lucky since then. It looks like the plants have about 4 weeks left to bulk up and I will need to stake the taller plants as they are already getting thic up top.

Thanks for all those who contributed. Lots of learning this season.

Good save...looks like they're doing all right in spite of the bug damage. There's nothing more frustrating than battling $#@!ing bugs. The only thing that's saved my outdoor plants from the same problem, has been the shitty weather. Rain, strong wind and relatively cool temps got rid of the critters, so hopefully I can get some clean clones to take inside. The bugs can have the moms if they want after that.
