Outdoor grow help

This is my first outdoor grow. I have had horrible luck trying to grow indoors (tiny plants, tiny harvest) so really this feels like my first grow almost.
They are still a couple weeks away from harvest but the rain and wind have started here. I’ve been tying them up in a bunch with a rope and that has worked well enough until yesterday when almost all of them had bent down to the ground. I put chairs to support them and they are still tied up. I would appreciate any advice regarding this…I don’t really know what to do other than leave them like this until harvest (and whether that is alright)!

Wind is good for your plant after it rains. Helps them dry out.
Try shoving a sturdy stake in the center of your plants. You can use it to tie guy wires to the falling branches.

I've drivin a steak into the ground out of the pot and tied base of trunk to that post to hold them. Man you've done so well so far, keep shaking that water off them wish you could of put up a canopy?

Are they in pots? When I had outdoor plants and the wind came up, I just laid them down until the storm was over.

Have outside plants in pots myself, and occational strong winds and torrents.

I just watch the forecast and move them to a sheltered location before bad stuff happens.

A little late now but next year try tomatoes cages. I use concrete reinforcement mesh and they can support an Incredible amount.
