Outdoor Auto

I’m about to embark on a couple of firsts and would appreciate some feedback and advice. First semi-outdoor grow, and first autoflower.
1. Will be using a greenhouse with plastic sheeting (photo attached). It will get plenty of sun but the plastic is more translucent than clear. Will that provide adequate light or will it perhaps block some vital light frequencies?
2. I can either put a few 5 gal fabric pots on top of the soil that’s already in there or plant in the soil. I’ve used fabric pots with coco coir for a few indoor grows and it’s always worked well, never planted in the soil so would need to amend, alter the watering schedule from coir, etc. Any advantage to planting in the soil vice using pots?
3. Have always topped and scrogged with my photoperiod indoor grows, but was probably just going to use some LST bending with the autos. Would topping still work OK with autos?
4. Finally, I’m looking for high THC indica-ish knockout weed, and was considering going with the GG4 auto from ILGM…anything that might give me a knockout punch but maybe with better yield, easier growing…?
Appreciate any help.

Totally dig it Rodney1 man what's you temps outside and daylight currently? Are you going to use any type of heat for it? Personly i use pots on the ground for outdoor. I don't see advantage for auto being inground at all. I used last summer all 3gal fabric pots for autos and did really good. I use 15gal for my photos. I won't put anything MJ out till June in Oregon do to temps and light length. I gotta have minimum 50f for overnight for my autos else they slow down, kinda like my issues right now indoor tent ;)

I’m in eastern NC, right now we’re in transition but I won’t be starting the grow until mid April so should be 50s-60s at night up to 70s-80s daytime, but will heat up quick in late May-June. Not planning on heating or cooling other than opening the vents on the greenhouse but I could run a fan or even a portable AC if necessary. Fabric pots seem the easiest plus I’m used to them, and if I go with the GG4 it’s not too tall plus I’ll use LST to flatten them out a bit,

I did GG#4 outdoor last year and it was a great plant i'm gonna do it again this summer got 1 seed left of her. I have a shelter logic green house i've not put up since i've moved to this new place and i used it for 4 summers before. Towards fall rainy season i used it for a couple of late going flower gals. Some of the best weed i grew since i did'nt worry about rain on the buds and did'nt get much mold, bud rot. Enjoy your grow and good luck . PS FYI zkittles was also a good outdoor, pre bubba 98. Gonna do blueberry kush this summer too. Man i love growing outdoors.

Just thought i'd show you Bubba Kush in the tent 2 summers ago, I super cropped it no issue, my row of lollypop plants in the smoke from fires and my young gals in the wagon prior to transplant. If you blow it up you'll see my greenhouse tent. Man you have a ball with your grow

Looks great! Hoping to have an easier time with auto in the greenhouse, no messing with lights, timers, etc, just let er rip. Don’t expect yields like I get indoors with photoperiod strains that I can top and scrog, but if it works it will be a lot less hassle.
