Organic Super Soil - Growing in a "Living" Soil

Soil can be a great choice for growing cannabis, but if you're using regular potting soil you'll likely need to supplement your plant with extra nutrients to make sure it's getting everything it needs, especially in the flowering stage!

But can you grow cannabis in a way that you don't add any extra nutrients, like how cannabis grows in nature?

Yes, you can, but in order to grow your plant from seed to harvest without adding any extra nutrients, you want to grow in a "living" soil that has been amended so it has all the "good stuff" your plant will need in the flowering stage to get the biggest buds possible.

Amended and composted soil (living soil) is often referred to as "super soil"

When growing in a living soil, you cultivate an active colony of microorganisms that break down nutrients and "feed" them directly to your plant roots! Plants grown in living soil tend to produce some of the strongest and most complex smelling buds of all grow methods. If you want to do "nature, only better" than growing in living soil is your best choice!

Living soil involves taking high quality soil, amending it with extra nutrients and minerals, then composting it over the course of weeks or months until it's steaming from biological processes. This composted soil is full of many tiny organisms, creating a rich colony that mimics the best of nature.

When you start with living soil, you basically just plant your seeds, water your plants regularly, and wait to harvest!

Is anyone here growing with super soil? Tell us about your experiences! What is your favorite and least favorite part about using living soil? What additional nutrients or supplements, if any, do you use?

Yes,I purchased Kind Soil from MICHIGAN and had one of my best harvests ever( over 3 & 1/4lb. from 4 plants under 600W hid ) !! Strain was Papaya , and started them from clones.HIGHLY POTENT ALSO !!!! soil not cheap up front , but w/o nut. costs and time-- I HIGHLY RECCOMEND

I want o Know your oppenion on using these PRoducts Instead composted Super-soil --- i think these heavy microbal nutrients can discover all of the plants needs from Livng-soil ( life soil )

I have had great success growing in outdoor especially after soil get 5 year oold with adments start growing trees

I'm not familiar with that product, but unfortunately, I don't think just adding microorganisms can make up for what happens during the months-long composting process. It takes some time to build up a thriving colony in the soil and then the colony needs time to start breaking down all the amendments so the nutrients are available to your plants.

I'm not saying it wouldn't help, just that you can't skip the composting process but still get all the benefits by adding bacteria right before you start growing. However, there are companies that compost soil and ship it through the mail if you're really interested in growing with a "living" soil but can't compost yourself. I feel your pain because living in the city I have zero places I could compost soil even if I wanted to!
