Optimizing two tents

Hi new grower here just looking for advice on how to optimize the two 8x4 tents that I'm using.

Right now I have one tent setup for veg the other for flower. As of now I start my plants maybe a week before my current veg plants go into bloom and veg them until harvest where I switch the plants and start over.

Would i be better off doing full cycles in both tents and maybe shortening the veg time? I'm basically just shooting for the best yields over time not neccisairly the most cost effective.

my current setup my veg tent uses two 8 ft t5 lights and the bloom tent uses 3 600w hps lights two plants under each light, plants in 20 gallon pots.

Any other tips for changing the setup would be appreciated as well thank you and happy growing
 
I'd stick with the way your doing it now.. but switch the pots out for totes or buckets and go hydro.. that will increase your yeides a lot.. use a dwc bubbleponics system.. but having a staggered grow will give you a constant flow..
 
I'm gearing up to run 2 tents.

The plan is to run full cycles in both, with one in flower and one in veg at all times. I'll move clones/seedlings etc. to what ever tent is currently vegging, but the production plants stay in the same tent. I also have some Auto seeds on hand in case of a disaster, lol. Longer veg, fewer plants.
 
Bucket grow systems are pretty easy to move... maybe you should add a third.. one for constant veg(to get clones) one for young plants one for flowering.. when the flowers are done fill that tent with clones by then the clones should be entering flowering.. and so on so forth
 
Depends what and how you are growing.
Are you transplanting up, or in final containers?
Are you planting seeds or clones?
photoperiod plants and/ or autos?
Do you maintain mother plant(s)?
What is your growing medium?
 
I have a little area setup for the seedling but I usually only have them in at a week or two so not really a need for the extra tent
 
I just switched to hydro and I don't plan to move the buckets just move the lids from one setup to the other.
 
You have to change water once a week anyways so that would or could be a good time to move em or just the lid idea is great
 
If you are planting regular seeds then it looks about right, assuming that 1/2 your plants will be male and 1/2 female once grown out.
If you are growing feminized plants only- the veg tent/ lights can be 1/2 that of the bloom tent.

Autos could be used to fill any spaces, to make use of all the light in both tents.

assuming your tents are 9' tall, then the plants would be grown to about 4' total height based on the lights penitration ability and any taller is non efficient and more/shorter plants would give more yields.
i don't grow with t5s, so not sure of the attainable yields, if you grew both tents Full cycle.
