Im curiouse with the surge of people growing cannabis these past 2 decades, what is the longest anyone has kept their plants alive?
 
I kept a plant (mother) in vegitation for two years and constantly trimmed and tired her and cut clones off of her for two years before I put her under 12/12 light cycle to produce bud....she was ridiculous...I untied her on the day of the 12/12 flip...she opened up and was a complete mess...tons..tons of little popcorn buds...was crazy..had to come up with all sorts of ideals to keep her branches off the ground...she never made it all the way to harvest...became way too much of a hassle to deal with...chopped her...threw her away in burn barrel...I was pissed but had to be done..
 
Green75 Should that ever happen again with another plant, you might want to try putting them under 6 hours of lighting for about two months. What you just described I have seen similar with non cannabis plants where parts of the plant got stuck in veg mode and the other in flower mode. Actually happens a lot on commercial property. Ever go to a busy car dealer or restaurant and see a line of rose bushes, and one or two of them have flowered and the rest absolutely nothing? That happens because the business had planted them where they had gotten plenty of light outside during the day, but at night got thrown off because of the expensive lighting they use to attract traffic so the ones near the lamps stayed dormant, while ones further away flowered.
 
49 here. When I was a kid, ran a C-Net BBS on C128D and then multi chat C-Net on Amiga. My younger brother did the same, till my mother cut his phone line when she got a $1000 phone bill due to downloading at 1200 baud from china.
