OK to harvest SOME buds?

OK, so, my girls are nearing harvest time, but some buds seem to have matured slightly faster than others (mostly the ones around the sides). Will it stress the plants too much if I harvest some buds (cut off the whole branch) but leave the rest to continue baking, as it were? Or should I just wait until *most* of the buds are at their peak, and harvest then?

you can harvest in stages, it's not uncommon, especially for massive outdoor plants.

Definitely, you don't need to do it all at once. When I harvested my last girl's lower branches only, the remaining top ones quickly hit their peak, no problem! 🐸

I just did that today. Took 3 main tops that were ambering a bit and the plant will continue to ripe in the next week or two

My lower buds do mature a bit faster, but they are usually so much smaller, whereas the top buds have more cola;s and are usually much larger. Sometimes all buds mature at same time but I get much less yield on lower buds. Would it be better to harvest top buds and wait for lower buds to cola more?
