They come in super handy when you take slivers out of your hand

It takes a bit of practice to use one of those especially when there's a breeze. It will however give you enough magnification to see your trichomes and their color. Use the white LED and that helps. They're nice when you're out tending the garden because you can just put it in your pocket and have it handy.
