Oh, Amber! Where art thou?

Bloody hell she’s takin her sweet time getting any ambers. This is norther lights auto at 15 weeks old. I find it’s a fantastic evening/relax smoke when at around 20-30% amber, and a great bedtime treat at around 40% amber. Previous grows I’ve done of this strain have gone as long as 18 weeks while the breeders website says “10 weeks crop time”...GTFOH...i don’t know what in the world they would have done to get her to be ready in 10 weeks 😂

If anybody wants an easy to grow auto, this is the one to grow.

anyways...pics are from different mid-regions of the plant.

Cheers
YYC

"These are the times that try men's souls..."

Waiting for Harvest Day is such a strange predicament isn't it?

We've been doting on these beloved plants for seemingly endless days, tending to their every need, fussing over clawed leaf and brown spot. And then, suddenly every morning we race to the grow room with a burning lust to end their lives with a nip of the clippers!

I think you're closer than it appears YYCannabis, and there's no law against snipping a "Test Bud" or two while you wait.

Regards,

I equate the excitement of harvest time to the excitement of sex....99% anticipation and 1% participation 😂

LoL it's in reference to an old TV show I don't know if you are old enough to know it "Kung Fu" and the master always called David Carradine grasshopper. It was a show like The Hulk or The A team the guy went from town to town saving the day but he would flash back to his training and his master would tell him patience grasshopper

**update**

Some more pics from around her waistline. These were not branch tip buds, but were the 2nd buds in from the tip of the branch. Not much amber to be seen in these buds...yet.

The NL auto is the one in the middle (beside her big fat friend). Took her out for a pic in the sunlight that *was* shining through the window...then the damn clouds came back and wrecked my photo shoot. 😂

Thanks for the kind words SoOrbudgal ☺️

The fat chick on the left...that top cola that’s way above the rest...there was one point during veg that the growth tip of that cola got just a wee teensy bit above my LED strips and stretched like crazy looking for the light (that was now below it). It has me wondering if i could do a SCROG and purposely tease all the colas to stretch and still not lose light-as-food to the plant. (I can keep my LED strips within inches of the plant). I’m not sure if a “stretched” cola would fill in nice and thick as a normal growth cola, but it’s something i might pursue as an experiment.

**nudder update**

Time to flush has finally come. She’s got plenty of ambers going out on all her colas. And the sunshine stayed out for some pics today.

16 weeks since she hatched.
