My growing has evolved, lo these past 18 months. I am now running a Mars Hydro TS600 for my flowering plants. My 315 LEC is in the grow tent, on an 18/6 schedule.

My MARS light introduced me to the new technology LEDs have grown into. The old advice from GWE on distance almost doesn't matter. I have my plants within only a few inches, with no ill effects.

I am looking to replace my LEC light, with a MARS HYDRO TSL 2000. My question is, will I have overkill in my 2' X 4' X 5' grow tent?

HOW DARE YOU, USING COMMON SENSE!!!! That my dear, is an excellent suggestion...if I can arrange my grow room properly!
 
Yes…Nebula doing a grow* (it is true though) with it now in a 2x4 although 5ft height is a bit short, heat zone will stay lower in the tent. It’s made for a 2x4 and if you check the specs plus her own par test, it’s fairly equal wall to wall coverage

I'm starting to feel that urge to fire up a tent but i'm fighting it. I so long for summer grows outside when we are in deep winter then i long for tent growing towards fall. I know the feeling dphipps1020 but i'm resisting the temptation.
