My moms side is from your neck of the woods though. Ridley Mississippi. Still have a lot of family there. Have never been though.

I think that might have been PuravidaC, that once lived in Vermont, but I'm not sure.
I've never heard of Ridley, but I know about Ripley Ms. It's in the northern part of Ms.

I can’t imagine anywhere being better than Oregon though. We don’t have hurricanes, tornadoes (well bad ones) and the western side is very temperate. We have an amazing coast , the gorge, crater lake and the east side with its high desert is beautiful. If you ever have the chance you should check it out.

so its back to cold 20 degrees this morning and we are expecting 3-6 inches of snow why the hell couldn't it wait until Sunday night lol .

We still have shopping to do 4 kids,12 grand kids, 1 great grand daughter and 1 grand and 1 great on the way so we are really never done lol

Everyone in NE stay save and drive carefully in this mess, Just glad I dont have to drive into Boston anymore .

I've got a great friend girl that lives in Bend ,Oregon, always telling me how beautiful it is there, it is beautiful, she sends pictures all the time, I think she said it was a college town too. I think it is pretty expensive to live out there though, I would like to visit Bend though, I think the young ones are all into board jumping in the snow.

We done had our snow for the century, we don't want no more ,y'all can keep it up there where it stays cold as hell, just look at those people at Lambeau field in Green Bay, that cold sh-t, don't look like fun to me, but it is pretty.
Right around 70degrees where we live, an that's a little on the cool side.

I feel for you, OJH: all I can say is that it's a good thing you got that grow room done, and that the plants are all safe and sound. JUST MAKE SURE THAT THE CERAMIC HEATER IS SAFE ON ITS OWN, OK??

Stuff I remember from living in cold climates:
Drive careful.
LAYER your clothing.
Drink hot chocolate.
Stand on the heat vent or next to radiator.
Smoke lots of herb.
