Off topic: Dry herb vaporizers and vaped herb

I recently bought a Pax 3 dry herb vaporizer. I read somewhere that you can keep the left over herb to make butter or concentrates. Anyone have experience with this? I also recently purchased a Magical Butter machine which is why I'm curious.

Yes, I save my Already Been Vaped (ABV) and add it to brownies as it already is decarboxylated, along with the canna-oil made from the MagicButter machine.

i only did it for the first time last time i made brownies for my friend (for whom i have made them regularly for 2 yrs, same way same stuff every time.) i added the ABV to the usual recipe. he reported noticeable uptick in potency/effect.

ABV is 1/4 to 1/8 as potent as the fresh nugs. So you have to use 4x 6x or even 8x the amount of plant material you normally would so it complicates certain processes. But if you extract with a solvent there's no problem. So for bho or alcohol tinctures is great. But for cooking you may find yourself trying to mix 80 grams of plant into a 100 gram butter. Just to get some potency

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I think I will save my vaped bud and perhaps add a bit of it to normal decarbed bud when I'm ready to try out my magical butter machine, based on your suggestions. Can't wait to try it out! (But I have to wait another month or so yet for crop to finish)

Definitely usable. Aside from edibles I've loaded the ABV into my pipe and smoked it a second time. Not as strong but does the job
