# of lights???

Hey y'all I have a question about how many plants you can generally get into a closet grow room I'm doing some low stress training center to make them a little wider the room is about 64'x43' also I'm running 40watt cfl's and for now I have a total of 13 plants in that one closet until I need to move them and am I right in thinking that we can plant start touching each other that would be time to move them??? I had 17 of those lights on and my temperature rose to 99 so of course I unscrewed a few bulbs how can I run all the lights needed And keep the temperature down someone told me that each plant should probably get four lights

Pictures would be helpful. You don't necessarily have to move plant when they are touching. That is how you get the sea of green effect. Do you have any fans of ventilation? That will help keep the temp down. Can you keep the closet door open so hot air can escape?

Thank you for the response back I will have pictures soon as soon as I get my phone fixed it's so jacked up right now it's unreal I can't even type what I'm saying now I have to use Siri to do it but anyway yes I leave the door open I have 2 fans and a heater that I'm not using at the moment.. Just curious is it true that I should have 4 40watt cfl's per plant??

This number doesnt surprise me. In fact ive used that many cfls before about 15 per 4 plants but it was in a smaller space. Heat is definately a concern. You need to vent it effectively. Good luck.

There's a lot to consider. I would put it like this. No matter how big your space is. It should be filled with bulbs so close that no more bulbs fit in between. Meaning you gonna need as many as you can arrange in a flat way all over your plants
