Odd yellowing

I first noticed the yellow before the leaf opened this is the only place on the planet that is not perfect. The other plants all look healthy and green. It does not seem to be affecting anything the plant is growing well. I plan to top it just above the fourth node however I was wondering the Nodal distances are less than a quarter of an inch if I raise my lights will it extend this distance so that I have enough room to take a clone?

It should extend the nodes but don't raise it to much as far as the yellowing I don't think its a problem at this point if the rest of plant/plants is ok

Thanks! This is my first grow in over 20 years I had some bag seed that had been collected over the last 12 to 15 years and of the 14 seeds collected two were white and should never of been saved nine of the other sprouted 3 to 5 look like weak plants/old seeds or poor genetics. They were started on May 23 I have since ordered acid dough by ripper seeds and was wondering if anyone had any experience with acid dough. For those wondering not much has changed in the last 20 years except we used to use an ebb and flow system which I haven't seen around. DW with an air bubbler was always my preferred method however I'm growing in soil this time as I'm just setting up and didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on chemicals. My first grows was under a 150 W high-pressure sodium that had been salvaged from an industrial site plants were grown in a kitty litter pan in Rockwool blocks with an air hose with tiny holes punched in it routed through out the bottom of the kitty litter box. (I was proud of my homemade hydro system as it was 1988 and High Times was my only resource). I had never seen a system like what I had done it was just my thoughts on the ebb and flow since it seemed the pause in flow was only to allow oxygen to get to the roots so I thought hey let's just put oxygen in the water.
