hey guys, i have just planted my seeds,
in soil and using cfl, i plan to feed my plants with chemical NPK fertilizer with the ratio mentioned in GWE.com, should i just use regular water? is any other addetives needed for water?
and will ph 7.4 be a problem?

I think you PH is a little too high. Soil grows (organic) like 6.5 and chemical grows (hydro) like closer to 6.
Your grow sounds like a non-organic soil grow, so I would try something in between and see how your plants respond.
I have seen grows of this style, and there are people here who have much more experience with it and they will help
Welcome to the site and good luck with your grow.
This site offers a ton of easy to understand, grow knowledge articles and I recommend you read all off them that you can.

My organic choice was the General Organics Go Box. It is a nice selection that covers all the bases. You would need nothing else, with one possible exception. That would be CalMag If there is not enough calcium in the water you are using, you should use that also.
My first 2 grows was in a 'just add water' organic mix, with all the blood meal, bone meal, etc. for a true organic result. I liked it, but I think I would stick to autos because of the shorter grow time. With full length photos I would need the Go Box for a supplement I think.
No matter what nutrients you decide on, start using them at 1/2 strength and increase if necessary. Remember, the it takes longer for the plant to react to changes in nutrients with organic as opposed the chemical.

I normally prefer 18/6, but this time I am on 24 hours for veg. The only reason is that I need the heat. If I shut down the light for 6 hours it would get too cold this time of year, in my basement.
