Nutrient Question

Hey all, I had a question on Nute lineup and what people were currently using and why. My question is: Can you mix nutrients (or supplements) with other lines? I was thinking of adding Big Bud to my current grow, but wonder if it will interrupt or cause issues with my current mix...

Currently I am running:
20 gall res. (am thinking of lowering amt of water since it's only 2 plants currently)

GH 3part

ArmorSi (1ml/gal)
CalMag (4ml/gal) <------These are all run throughout veg and flower
Florablend (3ml/gal)
Floralicious+ (1ml/gal)

Liquid Kool Bloom (2ml/gal) added 3rd week of flower
Dry Kool Bloom (usually 1lit to my res to bump up my ppm)

Lights: 1 Advanced Platinum LED 300
1 Wellpar 600W LED (Not actual draw - need to attach kill-a-watt to check it out)

Don't mix lines unless you know what is in them and how they react together. Some supplements will have NPK levels that if you're base or another supplement has NPK levels you will have to add them all up. This may even apply to micronutrients as well.
Personally I use HG's full line for DWC. HG is cheap to use (cost per gallon) but pricey up front. I veg for 4 weeks and flower for 10 a grow costs me about $55 in nutes/supplements.

Thanks for the response Taz, and I know not to mix the BASE nutrient line....

Thing is, I have seen other grows using multiple supplements from various lines.....i..e. Heavy 16 Fire (I've had grow shop swear by it for bloom booster even while using GH DUO line)....not that I'm going to be buying any Heavy 16 Fire in the foreseeable future....lol

Right but it can be supplements too. If I use calmag plus during veg with my feeding schedule I quickly find clawed leaves and yellowing tips.

I use H&G's DWC/Hydro lineup as well. Started off with their sample program two years ago and I never looked back. Used their online schedule for my very first (successful) grow. Adjusted the doses a few times and it's what I use in every grow since then. Great stuff.

Every time I speak to House and garden it seems they save me money. They said that since their nutrients will not create the salt buildup the other nutrients do that I do not need to empty my reservoir and refill it once a week he said I am wasting precious nutrients I should instead change it every say 3 to 4 weeks or at the appropriate growth stages (end of: veg, stretch, mid flower) since at these times I am changing the supplements!!!!! Woohoo @housegarden.

He also said that I shouldn't do Top-offs daily unless necessary. Suggested I Top-off when I need to add about 10gallons. Add base nutrients for the 10 gallons and supplements for 15gallons.
* adjust for your reservoir, mine holds 15 gallons of liquid nutrient water with an air gap.
