For your information dear growers, I don't use photoshop apps. What I do though is enhance the saturation and the clarity nothing else... BUT i do use a DSLR Nikon D500 with a 18-200mm or a 85mm macro lenses for close up. Sometime I'm above, below or inside of the canopy, well almost inside loll I use a flash most of the time. As you notice some have a darken texture in the background to again enhance the subject in this case the colas.

I have a D5200 and a 85mm which I have never really used much but after studying your pics I should get it out to play with. Damn phone cameras are getting very good but there really is no substitute for good glass!

Sorry Farmbuck if I keep hijacking your thread but a comparison doesn't hurt right? Over 4 inches of growth in these colas in the last 4 days is worth showing! Now I think they are starting to slow growth a bit and starting to plump up and stack! Several are looking like i'll get several 4 to 6 inch fat colas. Stipules are finally just beginning to curl and brown now.


Edit: Something is wrong with my photo loading so these won't enlarge for whatever reason.

I have no grow to photograph which is rather fitting because my phone is 90% dead, not out of power but 85% of the screen is black. I enhance, sharpen or change depth of light/color on my pics. I have a nice Canon camera that I've used once. I won a GoProHero5 that I set the date/time and took one pic to be sure it worked. Not having anything growing this would be a good time to play with the Nikon, it takes really nice pics, a friend has the same camera. But when I got out of bed today my R leg slid out from under me and I ended up on my butt, back against the bed like I was just sitting on the floor for some strange reason. Thankful that I got extra thick padding when I changed carpeting in that room. I still don't know when it's safe to start growing again. A friend whose dog I babysat in June died Sunday from COVID, my age but he had a younger wife and 11 year old daughter who was his life. Never tempt worse but I can't wait until October ends. Glad your autos are pleasing you, FB.
 
Sorry for your loss. I did catch covid but luckily I was only really sick for two weeks and no complications after that.
Makes you appreciate the little things in life because, life is fragile.
