Npk questions

So I don't have the full line of nutes that's on my schedule and not sure if this is right but adding all the nutes I'm using for mid bloom the npk is 7-26.5-31. Does that sound right? Is that a good ratio? Is the npk based on the ml recommended? If I add more then the chart is it adding more npk?

That sounds awfully high to me. I use the GH Floranova Grow and Bloom and the Grow is NPK 7-4-10 and the Bloom is NPK 4-8-7. My understanding is if you shake up the bottle and give the recommended dose, you are using the correct ratio. I don't believe using 3 teaspoons makes it three times the NPK, otherwise I would have fried my plants long ago. My other additives are like 2-0-0 or 0-0-2. I'm not sure how you are getting to suck high PK values?
 
Using gh flora series but I think I added wrong. There are supplements I think I'm adding. Silica 0-0-4 sugar 0-0-1 calmag 1-0-0 humic acid 0-1-1 rapid root/ iron 1-.5-1. But the maxi bloom is 5-15-14 and liquid Kool bloom is 0-10-10.

Hmm that's a lot of p I was trying to read up and find a good ratio but they don't show my nute line or numbers so high.
 
From what I've read and gathered. I'm not 100 on this but still...

Large amounts of P are good in the last week of veg and first 2 weeks if flowering. It promotes bud sites and flowering. But then for the remainder of flower you want P & K about equal parts, to a bit lower N. Usually 2-1 P&K-N..
 
Flowering Stage - Should have low Nitrogen (first number). It's especially important to limit N after week 5-6 when plant mostly stops using Nitrogen for new leaves/stems, and focuses on bud-building, which uses a lot of Phosphorus and especially Potassium. You want at least double the Potassium as Nitrogen.
  • 2-7-7 (good)
  • 2-3-5 (good)
  • 5-15-14 (good)
  • 3-12-6 (a lot of extra Phosphorus so not ideal, but it does contain enough Potassium and will get the job done)

I haven’t really done a lot of research on this. I just bought the fox farms trio when I started. Friend said he used it for a long time with good results. I’m using nearly the full line including the boosters. I just saw your numbers and thought the open sesame was that high on its own.
 
thats called PK boost usually around 13-14 (PK) so reducing those numbers in half its 3.5-13-15 pretty good ratio for a boost
 
Like I said I don't have the full line there is another bottle in the line for 60$ a quart with fish meal and stuff but I'm just following the feed chart. And last grow I didn't start nutes till flower really. I used some at the wrong time I'm sure but this time it's been a strict feed.No problems or burnt tips just checking my n level seems good but the big pk nutes go till end of flower.
 
When you say you don't have all the nutes that are on your schedule, how many bottles do you mean? Lots of schedules even from companies that I once thought of as reputable (e.g. GH), now seem to list a dozen bottles of Sooper Stuph wut ya just GOTTA have, when 2 or 3 bottles is plenty. OK, I use four: FloraSeries (3) and Ca/Mg. Don't feel bad cuz you're not falling for the marketing hype.

That said, if you're only using 2 bottles of a 3 bottle solution, that seems like false economy...

Just missing the one bottle and a dry ingredient. So using 10 out of 11. And the bloom feed is a 7 part which I'm only using 6 of. They didn't say I had to have it but I'm sure it has a little more pk and some nice stuff for aroma and density.
