I am to figure out when to stop nutrients if not flushing?

I stop nutrients week 7 and flush with water and molasses until they are ready

I switch to water only at the first amber trichome- gives you about 2 weeks no nutrients

And have you experimented with it yourself or do you choose based on research? I decided to flush and stop nutes 2 weeks before on one of the sisters so I can see for myself. Still waiting on curing to finish so I can compare them. One with nutes all the way to end and the other without
