Normal During First Weeks of Flowering?

Hey All,

Just experiencing some slight abnormalities with the bottom leaves on all of my plants. Started when I flipped them to start blooming. Was using BioThrive 'Grow' as my vegetative nutrients with a feeding schedule of 2tbsp nutrient/gallon of water every 2-3 days. Each plant was getting close to a1/2 gallon of nutrient water on feeding days, followed by a flush cycle after the third feeding. When I flipped them I made sure to flush them all for a week with pH balanced water and some CalMag to help them pull in any additional nutrients still remaining. Started to see yellowing bottom leaves, some wilting and dying, nothing climbing up the plant(s) yet though. Then I started hitting them with FloraNova 'Bloom' nutrients on a similar feeding schedule (1/2 gallon of 3tbsp/gallon nutrient water every 2-3 days) along with an accomplished flush after every third feeding day. I've attached a picture of some of the leaves displaying what I'm seeing. Wondering if this is a nitrogen deficiency, over watering (I use fabric pots so I'm not sure this is the diagnosis), or if this is normal to see when you flip them. Thanks for any help offered.

Bottom fan leaves turning yellow when flowering is perfectly normal. Sometimes they turn yellow before they start flowering.

I would cut those dying leaves off - and you should only be watering when your fabric pots are light light light - not every 2-3 days.

This is your answer. You got a slight deficiency when you flushed. It happened to me to when i did a flush pre flower. The plant will be fine just continue feeding it.

Hey All,

Thanks for the feedback regarding the leaves that were falling off the plants. Appears to have rectified itself but now it would appear I've got a different problem cropping up. Started to see some splotches of white mold on leaves of the plants (see images below). Today I tried cleaning some of the leaves with tap water and checked the RH (was at 46%). Also, hit them with some neem oil after the cleaning. Any additional suggestions/ steps to take?

The mold is ugly - and will get uglier if left alone. Leaves that are touching each other will be affected. Air circulation is key - need a fan blowing across your plants.

I have one 6 inch fan in there definitely need to get a 2nd one though. Thanks for the feedback.
