No Pistols Yet?

Hi everyone, My Blue Mystic Auto Flower shows no sign of pistils yet, tomorrow is the end of week 5. Should I be concerned?

This question comes up a lot on the forums. The answer is usually, "You sure you've got an autoflower?" Autos usually have pistils (but seldom pistols) after three weeks or so.

I've had autoflowers take forever, so not surprised anymore to see them take there sweet time. Very possible that it is actually a photo, that has been happening to quite a few people lately, but one of the biggest things I have been learning about breeders timelines, is that they are full of S*&%!!
To be fair, those times are based off of an ideal grow, and breeders get to see exactly what there particular strains ideal conditions are, while developing said new strain, so pretty optimistic when they tell you things like " 8 weeks from germ".
One of my Green Crack autos from Fast buds actually did start putting out pistils at 3-4 weeks though, but it is hanging out in the Photoperiod Flowering tent.

If my autos had pistols, I would never have to worry about my grow, I'd just let them guard the greenhouse for me!!

Got the seeds from Nirvana, the package says AF but I don't know for sure. Guess I'll wait and see if pistils appear. Kind of disappointed though, was hoping for Pistols

I'm curious what that longest it's ever been for you. Mine have always started at three weeks, so I'm curious about how much longer it can take.

I would think that you would be able to rely on a reputable supplier like that. Nirvana's site says 9 to 11 weeks for a Blue Mystic auto grow, and that's pretty quick, so I'd expect early flowering. A post on their site says he had pistils at 3 weeks. The only time I had really delayed flowering with an auto was when I planted outside in early spring and it was still cold and cloudy for weeks and weeks...

I'm pretty sure I'm currently growing THC Bomb, not the auto version I ordered.
4 weeks and no action, emailed bomb seeds and they said it should be flowering by now if it was they auto version so I started 12/12 yesterday. Don't know if I have the room or the time to grow a photo before I go on holiday but I'll give it a go.

I sent an email to customer service asking about it, guessing it will be a few days before I hear back.

I heard back about a day later from Bomb Seeds. They asked if I'm in an area where it's legal to cultivate (I'm not so I just lied and they didn't require any sort of evidence) then they answered my question the day after I replied

Heard back from them, they said switch to 12/12.
