Nitrogen deficiency in kindsoil?

Chelu

New member
Hi guys, recently I stumbled upon some problem with my plants. I grow in Kindsoil (3gal smartpots). Like a week ago I started to notice some yellowing on the bottom leaves ( on all the plants, 4)
. It wasnt bad in the begining but now they starting to die and the yellowing is happening fast. Im worried that I wont be left with any leaves till the end of the flowering cycle. They just entered week 5 of flowering ( out of 10 ). Is this nitrogen deficiency or is something else? And if it is, how do I fix it? With teas? Thank you

Morning chelu , how have you been watering your plants ?
Do you get run-off out the bottom of your pots when you water ?
I use KindSoil sometimes too.

Morning. I try not to get any run-offs but sometime it happens. It’s not a lot and not on every watering. I ph my water to 6.5 all the time using earth juice crystals. Each plant get’s 1-1.5l of water every 2 days( sometimes 3 days pass between watering) any more than that and I will get run-off. Other than that the plants look healthy! This is my first grow.

Hey Chelu, I use EarthJuice Crystals also.
I'm thinking that you have washed most if not all out of the Nitrogen and other good stuff out of your soil, with the run-off water.
If so you might want to start feeding them a little, or either feed her a compost tea, or if you got some KindSoil left you can always top dress .
Molasses should even help, is that an autoflower ?

They are not autoflowers...yes you might be right about the run-off...Can you please tell me more about the top dress ? How do I do it ? I wanna keep it all 100% organic.

Hey Chelu all i do is put a couple of inches of KindSoil back in your SmartPots, and water it in slowly.
Unsulfered bs molasses is organic, when I grow in KindSoil I give my girls a tablespoon or two of molasses, in a gallon of water.every month, all the way to harvest
Starting when they are about 2-3weeks old ,and if they are healthy.
Your gonna be fine.
Ps, and I also use Recharge, religiously the whole grow or something like it.
Your not gonna beat Recharge , I don't think.
