Niemi LED vs HLG LED Quantum Boards

The Niemi brand is great. Compared to viaspectra hands down much more efficient. The PAR ratings are garbage. Go by the lumens per watt or the micro moles / joules rating. That’s the only way to judge a light properly.
 
Good to know. I did think they seemed a little subjective. The Vipa doesn't even list either of those so that's probably not a great sign. I think it will be a nice upgrade and hopefully the last for a while.
 
You will be happy with the quantum board. Most companies will not give the rating, because they know they are not efficient. They rely on people not knowing those facts.
Most companies will have the lumen rating though. Take that number and divide it by the actual draw from the wall the light uses and you will have a good benchmark to compare.
 
Hi came here to learn more about Niemi LED since they have the LM301H diode available, sounds like a decent company to order from thanks
 
I’ve been very impressed with the board I got. Less heat than the vipars (still some) but much better light quality. My plants are thriving. Just switched to flower so will see how they do.
