Hi all I’ve got myself a little set up think it’s 2 x2 I got it as a set with lights etc I’ve done one grow but it was ina loft and freezing this time I have northern light autos and wondered if it was worth training them or letting them go naturally? I’m still very new to this and just want a simple grow but with good yields as I’ have cancer and it really helps but it’s just so expensive now
many thanks

Welcome aboard. Anything and everything you need to know about growing weed can be found on the main GWE web site. This forum is an excellent place to ask questions. Everyone has been where you are in their growing experience. Consider letting the plants grow naturally to get a feel for how they grow. Training your plant will help increase your yield but its not absolutely necessary to have a successful harvest. You might do that a time or two then experiment with plant training. The cool thing about autos is how quickly they get from seed to harvest. Give your plants the best environment you can (temps, RH, PH), with the best light you can, and recommended nutrients for the medium and grow method you have chosen. That will give you the best chances to reach your goals. Others will have varying opinions on the subject.

Train them, hit them with a broom, they really like it. The meaner you are, the more they produce.

Hey, Skip.
I am saddened to hear of your cancer. I hope you are under medical care with a good oncologist!
This will be a different sort of response to your post, and I AM NOT A DOCTOR!
The best cannabis use for cancer I have heard of anecdotally (personal use reports, not scientific studies) is Rick Simpson Oil aka RSO aka hash oil. I would read all you can about it online - grow heavy indica varieties, learn how to extract with alcohol to make your own.
May I suggest you discuss using RSO with your MD? Become an RSO expert first as the doc will not likely know much about it. This illness is no joke, so I would buy RSO at a dispensary to start treatment, if you want try it, until you can make your own.
Remember, taking RSO does not guarantee a cure or even remission, it works in some people and not at all in others. And, also, if you follow Rick Simpson's dosage suggestions, you will be stoned 24/7 for 3 or 4 months.
