These are my 4 plants at 5 wks. veg using a 400 watt MH HID. The girls are Diablo strain indica hybrid seeds I got from my dispensary in a purchase and I was wondering is it time to start 12/12 blooming cycle. now. I have 5 node grown and the plants are 14" tall?

Plants look good and yes I'd say they are ready for 12/12. Recommendation - you have such dense foliage, it will be hard for light to penetrate down to all buds sites. I would do some defoliation now and as you see buds sites start to appear, remove any leaves that may be blocking the light to those sites.

Yes you can flip them. I would think about defoliation before hand though. Also im curious on the temps in the grow room as i see signs of heat stress (leaves curling up). Other than that they look good!

Yes I had problems with heat when I started and I did over fertilize with 1800 ppm using General Hydro micro and floragrow for a day before my meter arrived. Not sure if I can trim away all large leaves without stressing the plants.

I notice that there are a lot of them from pinching. Can I trim the leaves that are below the bud site or the leaves below, I'm not sure about pinching and trimming.
