Newbie looking for assurance

No need for anyone to get bent out of shape here. I think that -- and this is speaking as a newbie myself -- some of these concepts (adding CO2, for example) needlessly complicate things for someone just starting out. Better to work on shepherding a healthy plant through to harvest and then work on increasing yields by tweaking things once one has real practical growing experience. And if keeping your LED that close works for you, that's great! But I see post after post where the grower's problem turns out to be their powerful lights were too close. (I have no control over the distance of my light source lol!)

Growers love from the heart, guys!

Yeah I agree Aloner, you can't beat that Sun !! Seems to me it even tastes lots better growing in the Sun ,might be wrong on that, but I don't think so. Have a great day.

Wow, sorry I caused all this mess lol.🤣🤣🤣 I just haven't seen any pre flowers yet and was wondering where to look, and if y'all had seen them before, perhaps an excited pic. Or a "damn I remember seeing my first preflower".lets all be fellow growers whose opinions may differ but that makes us all stronger because we have learned from another like a million folks all passing the world's largest blunt.😎😎😎😎🤣🤣

I've been looking for preflowers on both of my plants for about a week...I thought I saw a calyx on the younger plant (which is actually outgrowing my space bucket--yikes and it's not even flowering yet) but now I can't find it at all.

Change the color of ur light if u can to more red this will help make flowers and also add more potasium and that will speed up flowering as well :) I hope I could help

Just go get a couple cfl bulbs that are more on the red for color lol kinda like a 2100k the little bit of red will help flowering. Also if ur growing autos the more light the better as they need a lot more light during preflower/flower. I hope I could help

Thanks for all the advice, I may do that. Just switched to 12/12 this morning begins their first 12 hour dark period, and last night I mixed up "grow big" "tiger bloom" "big bloom" and "calimagic" and am going to water full strength alternating with half strength. Here goes nothing.😎😎
